Ice Cream is Good!
The fat kid ice cream company came from two kids that love ice cream and love making it too! Making our own ice cream gave use the chance to make lots of different flavors and styes to see what we love the most. Useing all natural and organic ingredients, sticking to the old school custard style Ice cream, making it rich and creamy and a product to be proud of. Thats the fat kid way!
Using Organic Dairy and Eggs
Fat kid ice cream started (officially) in the spring of 2010 in Telluride, Colorado. Starting small with just a 3qt. batch freezer, a poco jet and a push cart. Selling the Ice Cream at the local farmers market and the farmers market in Ridgeway, Colorado.
All Natural
Now one year later the fat kids have grown a bit and now have there own kitchen to make more ice cream. Still sticking to our roots we will be at the Telluride Farmers market and the Ridgeway farmers market. We love the people and the products the farmers bring every week to give us inspiration for new and “off the wall” flavors. Also this summer you will be able to find our ice cream at the Butcher and The Baker in Telluride as well as our own location at the Sawpit Food Club nine miles northwest of Telluride in the killer little town of Sawpit.
